Wizzles Of Oz!

Hey guys, thought you may like to hear a little about training “Down Under”!

Recently I have been involved with the media quite a bit, doing a piece in the Penrith Star newspaper with a friend, which has attracted quite a few new people in the local area. I have also been contacted by another local newspaper, the Hawkesbury Gazette, to do another piece on Monday. You can find the Penrith Star article here, along with the photo-shoot: P.S ARTICLE

As well as media-whoring, I have been doing a lot of conditioning recently, but not a lot of outside movementy stuff. I severely bruised my toe 2 weeks ago, it is fine now but I just conditioned mainly in the time I couldn’t do much. My climb ups are getting a lot faster now (except after a whole days training, they feel pretty poor - the other day I go up on a non-over grip type wall with all most straight arms, was very pleased). I have been taking a few photos with my new camera as well, capturing the scene in Penrith. It is really pleasing how they turned out. Check them out here: My Gallery

Robbie and I are creating a new Penrith video, as the last one sparked some media interest, along with which came new people training in Penrith. This time around it will show how the community has grown from just two people, and of course will have some new spots we have found.

I had a great days training in Sydney on Sunday, with a few members of Sydney Parkour, during which we explored and trained at new places that nobody had bothered to go - there are a few hotspots in the City, but we decided to go out a little. We filmed a video to document the day, which took pretty long to edit, but was worth it.

Penrith training yesterday was also really good, I got a level cat precision movement I have been trying to get for a while, and Rhys and Shaun came from Sydney.

That’s all from me at the moment, I’ll be posting some more stuff in a few weeks. For now, peace, train hard and enjoy every second you have.
